Slavery ties Sharpton to Thurmond
Whoop-Dee-Doo, why is it a surprise that there is a slavery link between a white family and a black family? Would this have made a difference if it is some other white or black family? Give me a break people, we really need to find something more newsworthy to report.

Is Kevin Rose a hypocrite?
I came across an interesting article today Web TV's top-rated acts
The snippet I found interesting...
"On one Diggnation episode, Rose drank a cup of Adagio tea instead of his usual bottle of beer to salve a nagging cold. Afterward, Revision3's COO, David Prager, put in a call to the New Jersey-based high-end tea maker to discuss a quid pro quo arrangement.
The terms: Adagio would put together a special $20 Diggnation "sampler set" (a teapot, four teas, and a tea guide) to plug during the next show; Revision3 would get a 20 percent cut of any resulting sales. Rose chose his favorites and mentioned a special URL where viewers could purchase the tea online. A month after the show posted to iTunes, Adagio had rung up $100,000 in Diggnation-linked sales - a 25 percent boost to its average monthly tally."
Hmmm, so it is ok for Rose / Revision3 to make money from sponsors but not top diggers? Seems hypocritical to me. What do you think?

Hilary Clinton and her Iraq war vote controversy
So there is a big brawl between Clinton and Obama's campaign aides regarding Geffen's comments about Hilary. Well I can kinda understand the dilemma that Hilary is in. On one hand, if she admits that she was wrong to vote for the Iraq war, the evil Republican spin machine is going to label her as flip-flop Hilary, remember flip-flop Kerry? On the other hand, her not admitting that she was wrong put her in hot waters with Democrats. So here's my suggestion to Hilary. Admit that she was wrong to vote for Iraq war but that the vote was based on Bush's lies and faulty intelligence. Should be just that simple.

Food for Thoughts for Detroit Car Makers
As of late, Detroit Car Makers like Ford, Chrysler, and GM are in big financial trouble and losing market share to Toyota steadily over the years. A big part of the problem is that they are still focusing on oil-guzzling SUVs and are just slowly trying to catch up with fuel-efficient cars from Toyota, Honda, etc.
One thing that has always puzzled me though is why Ford never remake classic cars like Mustang, etc in their original form. It is obvious that classic muscle cars have character and are much loved by all, Americans and non-Americans alike. Yet the car makers opt to make modern versions of classic cars like Mustang that just don't quite hit the spot. Uh dudh, people love the classic cars for their classic design, not a modernized version of a classic car. So duplicate the original classic design as is and the cars will fly off the showroom floors faster that you can make them.

Barack Obama and his Islam ties
As of this date, the 2 biggest names in Democratic presidential candidates for 2008 election are Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton. I think Barack has a lot going for him, charismatic, well-spoken, Harvard Law Review president, etc. Despite common misconceptions, he is Catholic, not a Muslim. However, his dad is a Muslim and Barack went to a Muslim school in Indonesia while he was a boy. Plus his middle name is Hussein and his name Obama rhymes with Osama.
But here's the reality of the situation, we are still in the middle of all this mess with Iraq, Al-Qaeda, Afghanistan, Iran, Israel and Palestinian conflict. Oh and of course, the series 24 is attempting to setup internment camps for Muslims. The point is that America has very negative feelings towards anything Muslim / Islam. Does Barack honestly think that over 50% of the Americans are going to vote for someone with ties to Islam in some form or shape? I don't think that America is ready to elect a Presidential Candidate with any ties to Islam (past or present) at this stage of our history. If Barack becomes the front runner for the democratic party, the evil Republican spin machine, aka Karl Rove, is going to kill the democratic dreams with his ability to create overly simplistic out-of-context damaging statements that Americans buy into. Remember flip-flop Kerry?
No Obama, unfortunately the majority of Americans have became too fat and lazy to really find out where candidates really stand on key issues. We mostly get our information from TV commercials, so sad but so true indeed.
Oh and just in case you are wondering, I am a minority (though not African American).

Abercrombie & Fitch is a JOKE
I was in the mall today and walked past the Abercrombie & Fitch store, frankly it disgusted me. Ok, I admit I am over 30 and definitely not the teens / young adults they seek. It is a known fact that they go out of their way to keep out people over 30 by blaring loud music and give you evil stares if you look anything close to late 20s. Plus they virtually promote child porn with their catalog. Today they added black blinds on the outside of their store that are barely opened. Obviously they don't want anyone over 30 seeing their store merchandise. How stupid is that!? What a a bunch of retards. Bet they are going to start carding you at the entrance soon. Sorry Madam/Sir, you are 1 day over 30, entrance denied.
